Gigs @america

Last week (23/12), on behalf my institution, I went to American Cultural Centre @america in Pacific Place Mall to attend "The Role of Music in Building a Culture of Disaster Awareness in Indonesia" . The event was held as a commemoration of the Aceh Tsunami disaster. It was a very interesting office duty because I could enjoy the fascinating performance of Robby Navicula, Oppie Andaresta, Josiah Alexander Sila, and Dira Sugandi. The guest stars attended were a Grammy Award winning Jazz legend and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue, Herbie Hancock, and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Teacher Education in Southeast Asia, Christine Hakim. :)
